General Policy Statement
The massage therapy given here is for the purposes of deep relaxation, stress management, reduction of muscular tension and developing holistic personal awareness. We do not diagnose illness, disease or any other physical disorder. We do not prescribe medication or perform spinal manipulations. We reserve the right to refuse to work on a person under the influence of alcohol or drugs.
Safe Space Policy
We respect all clients regardless of their age, gender, race, national origin, sexual orientation, gender identity, religion or political affiliation. As per the Florida Board of Massage & Bodywork Practice Act, we will maintain confidentiality of all client’s information except in the event the client agrees to disclosure in writing, or by court order.
Haven Massage & Wellness massage therapy is scheduled by appointment only. Contact us anytime to discuss your needs with a certified practitioner and reserve your spot using Visa, Master Card or any major credit card.
If for any reason you are unable to keep an appointment please notify our office, by phone, at least 24 in advance of your scheduled session. There is a 50% cancellation fee for missed appointments without notification. Exceptions are made for illness. Clients are not required to pay a cancellation fee with a valid medical note.
If you arrive late for your appointment, Haven Massage & Wellness practitioners will provide treatment for the remaining session time only, with no fee reduction. Due to tightly booked schedules, we are unable to extend appointments beyond the originally specified time.
Payment is required to secure your session. We accept all major credit cards. FSA (Flex Spending Accounts) and HSA (Health Savings Accounts)are also accepted. Care Credit is NOT accepted. Invoices for submission can be provided for insurance self-billing, upon request.
Kindly arrive at least 10 minutes prior to your first appointment to provide health information and consult with your massage therapist regarding your condition. Contact our office for more information.
Illness and Health Concerns
Kindly let us know of any health conditions, allergies and/or other concerns you may have prior to treatment. In an effort to provide a healthy environment, we respectfully request that you reschedule your appointment if you are experiencing a cold, fever, or flu, etc. This is in consideration of your health as well as the well-being of other clients and staff.
